The position is responsible for an array of complex tasks, including:
Collecting information from different business areas and building complex financial models to provide insight into underlying business dynamics;
Analyzing unique project objectives and situations to select the most suitable valuation methodologies;
Providing analysis and counsel to client Licensing and IP functions using their own knowledge and experience with licensing contracts and programs;
Developing IP-related litigation and expert witness activities;
Supporting special financial and business valuation studies as needed to meet project objectives;
Analyzing, and presenting financial data to support forecasting and management decisions;
Handling multiple projects across the company, setting and achieving time frames and priorities;
Producing comprehensive written expert reports with model exhibits.
In order to qualify as a candidate, you must satisfy the following requirements:
Understanding of the different types of intellectual property and intangible assets;
Strong analytical background and investigative curiosity;
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with others in a complex, fast paced working environment;
Strong valuation and financial modeling skills;
Licensing management or administration experience;
At least 3-5 years relevant experience in positions with increasing challenge and responsibility, or equivalent education;
Spanish language skills a plus.
